The Creative Spigot
Over lunch at Big Big Table, Jesse said, “artists see what is and express it so that others can see it as well.” Writing, like other arts, builds up within the body until a creative explosion is ready. Meditation and relaxation and body awareness can help to channel the stress and pain which may enable the body to connect with truth and creativity.
During a time of bliss and relaxation, where nothing is wrong and nothing has felt wrong in recent memory, the creative spigot may run dry.
During times of fear and stress, which overwhelm, the energies that lead to creative expression may rot and go bad, resulting in toxins within the body and a disappointment that an opportunity for creative expression was lost. More immediately, the body may feel ill and depressed as a result of the spoilage of this creative fuel.
