Goals
My goal is not to meet or exceed others’ expectations.
My goal is to feel into what I am called to do and to act from there.
My job is a vehicle within which an actor, me, can act.
When the vehicle persistently constrains action, I can park, climb out the window, and walk.
Perhaps I will climb back in through that window later when the vehicle serves my purpose.
Perhaps instead I will find a gutter through which I can slide down to a lovely swamp full of turtles and frogs.
Perhaps I will be inspired by a turtle sunning herself on a log and recognize that - in this moment - resting under the heat of the sun is the most perfect action.
